Biblical Survey Courses include Old Testament Survey 1, Old Testament Survey 2, New Testament Survey 1,  and New Testament Survey 2.  An optional course on the Apocrypha may be created and taught on individual jurisdiction or student request.

These courses look into the history of biblical texts, and an analysis based on literary and theological view points will be learned.

By the end of these courses students will be able to analyze scripture and develop a working exegesis, and be able to apply scriptural reasoning to day to day pastoral situations.

This course is a required course for all theological school candidates for ordination. This foundation level course covers the theological and historical impact of the books of Law and History ( Genesis- Esther). This course will be taught using the three legged stool model of Scripture, tradition, and Reason.
